Alphadia III has officially launched today on Android for global players, marking the third installment in the beloved Alphadia series. Developed by EXE CREATE and published by KEMCO, this game hit the Japanese market last October and is now available worldwide.

What’s the Story in Alphadia III?

Set in the year 970 of the Alphadian calendar, the game plunges players into the climax of the Energi War, a colossal battle over the enigmatic life force known as energi. The world is split among three dominant powers: the Schwarzschild Empire in the north, the Nordsheim Kingdom to the west, and the Luminea Alliance in the east.

As tensions reach a breaking point, the narrative centers on a clone soldier named Alfonso. His story takes a dramatic turn when a girl named Tarte arrives with news of another clone's demise, sparking a pivotal moment in his journey.

What’s the Gameplay Like?

Alphadia III retains the traditional turn-based combat system viewed from a side perspective, all rendered in charming pixel art. The game introduces several mechanics to keep battles engaging, including SP Skills that build up during combat and can dramatically shift the tide of battle if used strategically.

Another key feature is the Arrays, which are tactical battle formations that unlock as you progress. These allow for varied combat strategies tailored to the challenges you face.

A novel addition to the series is the Energi Crock. By adding spare items to it as you explore, it gradually produces Energi Elements, which you can exchange for equipment or other valuable items at special shops.

Throughout the game, you'll encounter various factions such as the peacekeeping alliance Deval and elite military units like Rosenkreutz from Nordsheim. Different energi clone models are also present, including the Berger Series from Nordsheim and the Delta Series from Schwarzschild.

Beyond the main storyline, Alphadia III offers a wealth of side content and is optimized for controller use. You can purchase the full version from the Google Play Store for $7.99, or opt for the freemium version on Android, which includes ads.
