The Lenovo Legion Go S features an expansive 8-inch display, powered by an AMD Ryzen Z2 Go processor, 32GB of RAM, and a spacious 1TB SSD. Its design is lighter and more rounded, opting out of the removable controllers found on its predecessor. While the Windows version is available for preorder now, a more budget-friendly version with SteamOS is slated for release in May.

At CES 2025, IGN's Jacqueline Thomas shared her hands-on experience with the Lenovo Legion Go S: "Despite its large screen, it remains comfortable to hold, especially without the knobs and dials of the original. The smooth, rounded sides and the hatched texture on the grips not only enhance the feel but also help prevent accidental drops."

She further praised the display, noting, "The Lenovo Legion Go S boasts a 1200p LCD panel with a 120Hz framerate, delivering stunning visuals. It's large enough for clear gameplay and bright enough to use in the well-lit demo room at CES 2025."
