NetEase Games' Marvel Rivals kicks off Season 1: Eternal Night Falls with a surprise: free Peni Parker and Scarlet Witch skins! Dracula's attack on New York City necessitates the Fantastic Four's intervention, setting the stage for this exciting season running from January 10th to April 11th, 2025.

The Fantastic Four's arrival expands the game's roster. Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman are immediately available, with Human Torch and The Thing joining the fray in a mid-season update (rumored roles: Human Torch as a Duelist, The Thing as a Vanguard).

Players can obtain free Peni Parker (Blue Tarantula skin) and Scarlet Witch (Emporium Matron skin) cosmetics by completing in-game quests and earning Chrono Tokens, without needing the premium battle pass (990 Lattice/$10). Peni's skin is on page three, while Scarlet Witch's is on page nine. Note that while a Scarlet Witch emote is free, her MVP animation requires the premium pass. A free Thor skin is also available through the Midnight Features event.

The in-game shop offers additional premium skins: a villainous "Malice" outfit for Invisible Woman and a dark "Maker" skin for Mister Fantastic. This abundance of new content has generated significant excitement among Marvel Rivals players.
