Marvel Rivals Gets Suit from PlayStation's Spider-Man 2 Later This Month

Get ready, Marvel Rivals players! A thrilling crossover event is dropping, bringing the iconic Advanced Suit 2.0 from Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 into the game as a brand-new skin.

PlayStation announced the exciting news on X/Twitter, giving us a sneak peek at NetEase Games' impressive recreation of this beloved suit for their hero shooter. This stylish Spider-Man suit, originally designed for Insomniac Games’ Marvel’s Spider-Man, has appeared in all three installments of the series. Its distinctive white spider symbol makes it instantly recognizable, and its arrival in Marvel Rivals marks a surprising collaboration between Sony and the console-exclusive superhero game. Prepare to see Spider-Man’s Advanced Suit 2.0 swing into the in-game store on January 30th—the same day Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 launches on PC!

Marvel Rivals, launched in December, already boasts a wide array of unlockable suits. However, this Spidey suit is truly special. Beyond its connection to the immensely popular PlayStation series, the Advanced Suit 2.0 will once again be donned by a Spider-Man voiced by Yuri Lowenthal. Lowenthal, the voice of Peter Parker in all three of Insomniac’s Spider-Man games, also lends his talents to Marvel Rivals. So, when you snag this costume on January 30th, expect a familiar and authentic experience as you web-sling your way to victory.

NetEase's inclusion of Spider-Man’s Advanced Suit 2.0 adds another exciting element to the already impressive content released with Season 1: Eternal Night Falls last week. This season introduced Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman from the Fantastic Four as playable characters, with The Thing and Human Torch joining the fray in a few weeks. And the fun doesn't stop there! Creative director Guangyun Chen recently promised to launch at least one new hero every month and a half.
