Mask Around: A Gooey Sequel That Packs a Punch

Mask Around, the sequel to 2020's quirky roguelike platformer Mask Up, is now available on Google Play. This time around, the signature yellow ooze returns, but with a significant upgrade: the addition of shooting mechanics.

Remember the original Mask Up? You started as a puddle of yellow goo and evolved into a… well, a buff pile of goo. Mask Around retains that core gameplay, but adds a dynamic new element: the ability to seamlessly switch between ranged combat and close-quarters brawling.

Your goo powers remain crucial, but are now complemented by weaponry, providing strategic depth. Managing your goo supply remains vital, especially during challenging boss encounters. The sequel also boasts noticeably improved graphics.

While an iOS release hasn't been announced, Android users can download Mask Around immediately. While I haven't played the original, Mask Around appears to be a substantial improvement, expanding upon the original's core gameplay while maintaining its unique charm. The strategic interplay between goo abilities and ranged combat adds a fresh layer of challenge and excitement.
