Blue Protocol: Star Resonance Opens Global Pre-Registration

Pre-registration for Blue Protocol: Star Resonance is now open through publisher A Plus. This globally released, anime-style MMORPG is slated for an October 2025 launch. Developed by Shanghai Bokura Network Technology, the game has also initiated its PC Closed Beta Test as of today.

Blue Protocol: Star Resonance is heavily inspired by its predecessor, the original Blue Protocol, which first launched in Japan in 2023.

Regrettably, that version was discontinued after just one year, unable to sustain a sufficiently large player base. Its servers were taken offline in January 2024, and plans for a wider international release were subsequently canceled.

However, Star Resonance represents a fresh start for the franchise. This time, A Plus is focused on ensuring a solid foundation from the very beginning.

Set in the world of Magna, the game features mines rich with rare crystals, herbs, and mushrooms to discover. Players must also contend with sudden monster stampedes. Combat offers classic roles: tanking with shields, healing with radiant magic, and dealing damage with skill-based attacks.

The gameplay allows for dynamic style-switching to adapt to any situation. An extensive customization system enables players to design unique outfits to stand out in bustling town hubs.

The experience includes plenty of leisurely activities, too. You can fish by tranquil rivers, dance at lively festivals, or light up the sky with fireworks. Multiplayer raids against formidable bosses will also be a core part of the endgame.

Star Resonance has been specifically optimized for mobile devices, featuring a custom interface built for touchscreen controls. Both mobile and PC players will share the same servers for a unified community. Check out the official pre-registration trailer below.
