Ubisoft Delays Rainbow Six Mobile and The Division Resurgence
Ubisoft has announced further delays for the mobile releases of Rainbow Six Mobile and Tom Clancy's The Division Resurgence. Initially slated for a 2024-2025 launch, both games will now arrive after Ubisoft's fiscal year 25 (FY25), meaning sometime in 2025.
This decision, detailed in a recent business document, aims to mitigate competition within the already saturated tactical shooter market. The games are reportedly nearing completion, but Ubisoft seeks a more opportune release window for optimal market performance. The earliest possible release is likely after April 2025, the end of FY25.

The delay is particularly noteworthy given the upcoming release of competing titles like Delta Force: Hawk Ops. Ubisoft's strategy focuses on achieving strong initial KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) in a highly competitive market, avoiding being overshadowed by other launches.
While disappointing for fans eagerly awaiting mobile versions of their favorite franchises, pre-registration remains open for both games. In the meantime, explore our curated lists of the best and most anticipated mobile games of 2024 for alternative gaming options.
