In Monster Hunter Now's second update of Season 5: The Blossoming Blade, the Spring Hunt 2025 event is set to captivate players. This online paid event, scheduled from May 24th to May 25th, 2025, offers a unique opportunity for hunters. To participate, you'll need an event ticket available in the Monster Hunter Now shop. The event focuses on uninterrupted Elder Dragon Interceptions featuring the elusive elder dragon, Chameleos. During the event, there will be no waiting time between Interceptions and Hunt-a-thons, allowing you to engage in continuous battles. Additionally, participants can earn exclusive Chameleos-themed layered gear, enhancing their in-game appearance.
The Spring Hunt 2025 event also introduces Event Exchange Hubs, with two hubs available. The Spring Hunt Eve Exchange Hub will be open from May 19th at 9:00 a.m. until June 2nd at 11:59 p.m. During this period, you can collect tokens by slaying large monsters or elder dragons between May 19th and May 25th. These tokens can then be traded at the hubs for valuable items such as a Silver Rathalos Plate, Glavenus Plate, Wyvern Gem Shard, and more, enriching your arsenal and gear options.
Eager to Get Your Hands on Chameleos?
Chameleos, the spotlight elder dragon of this update, is known for its stealthy tactics and ability to emit a fog that impairs visibility. Starting May 24th, 2025, players can engage in Elder Dragon Interceptions to confront this vanishing menace. If you're ranked 100 or above, you'll have the chance to encounter Chameleos in 8-star Elder Dragon Interceptions once they enter a preliminary state, beginning at 9:00 a.m. on the 24th. Chameleos is particularly susceptible to Fire, Dragon, and Blast damage, so preparing your gear accordingly will give you an edge in battle.
Successfully defeating Chameleos allows you to craft the new Mizuha Set armor, which includes the Chameleos Venomist skill. This skill reduces the duration of poison and venom effects on you by half and makes it easier to inflict poison on your targets. The range of weapons you can craft using Chameleos materials is extensive, including Dual Blades, Great Sword, Long Sword, Hammer, Gunlance, Switch Axe, Charge Blade, and Bow. To join the excitement, download Monster Hunter Now from the Google Play Store and prepare for the Spring Hunt 2025.
