Dynamax Encounters and More!

The season launches with 1-star Max Battles featuring Dynamaxed versions of Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Skwovet, and Wooloo. Trainers can battle and catch these powerful Pokémon, including Shiny variants! Their evolved forms will also be capable of Dynamaxing.

Expect special Field Research tasks, PokéStop Showcases offering event-themed rewards, and a Seasonal Special Research story focusing on Max Battles. This Special Research, available from September 3rd at 10:00 a.m. local time to December 3rd, 2024, at 9:59 a.m. local time, rewards players with Max Particles, a new avatar item, and more.
