Pokémon GO: February 2025 Event Calendar

Get ready for a jam-packed February in Pokémon GO! This month brings a Lunar New Year celebration, a Karrablast & Shelmet Community Day, the debut of Dynamax Moltres, and much more. Here's the full schedule:

Lunar New Year Event: January 29 – February 2

Ring in the Year of the Snake with increased spawns of snake-themed Pokémon like Ekans (Shiny available!), Onix (Shiny available!), Snivy (Shiny available!), Darumaka (Shiny available!), Dunsparce (Shiny available!), Gyarados (Shiny available!), and Dratini (Shiny available!). Enjoy boosted Lucky Pokémon trade chances, easier Lucky Friend status, and daily Field Research tasks rewarding PokéCoins. 2KM Eggs will hatch Makuhita (Shiny available!), Nosepass (Shiny available!), Meditite (Shiny available!), Duskull (Shiny available!), and Skorupi (Shiny available!).

Legendary Flight Dynamax Moltres Event: February 3 – 9

Dynamax Moltres makes its debut! Catch it as a Max Monday boss at all Power Spots on February 3rd (6 PM – 7 PM local time). Afterward, it remains available until February 9th, though at fewer Power Spots alongside Squirtle, Krabby, and Sobble (available until February 10th).

Karrablast & Shelmet Community Day: February 9

This dual Community Day (2 PM – 5 PM local time) features boosted Karrablast and Shelmet spawns, increased Shiny rates, and evolution bonuses. Evolve Karrablast or Shelmet by February 16th (10 PM local time) to get an Escavalier with Razor Shell or an Accelgor with Energy Ball, respectively. A premium Timed Research is available for purchase for an easier experience.

Beloved Buddies: February 11 – 15

Details to be announced soon for this event running from February 11th (10 AM local time) to February 15th (8 PM local time).

Raid Day: February 15

The February Raid Day boss will be revealed soon, running from 2 PM to 5 PM local time on February 15th.

Scattered to the Winds: February 18 – 20

Details to be announced soon for this event running from February 18th (10 AM local time) to February 20th (8 PM local time).

Road to Unova: February 18 – March 1

This event kicks off the lead-up to the Pokémon GO Tour: Unova Global event in March! Expect the Pokémon GO debut of Shiny Meloetta, Gen 5 Legendary Raids, boosted Unovan starter Pokémon spawns, premium Timed Research, and more! The event runs from February 18th (10 AM local time) to March 1st.
