Project Mugen now has an official name and teaser trailer as NetEase shows off Ananta

NetEase Games and Naked Rain's enigmatic Project Mugen has finally revealed its official title: Ananta. A new PV and teaser trailer showcase the urban, open-world RPG, offering a clearer picture of what awaits players.

The preview video highlights Nova City, a sprawling cityscape serving as the game's setting. It introduces a diverse cast of characters facing the looming threat of chaotic forces from beyond. While comparisons to MiHoYo's titles, particularly *Zenless Zone Zero*, are inevitable, Ananta boasts unique elements, especially in its movement mechanics.

The PV showcases impressive movement capabilities, leaving open the question of whether traversal will be limited to instanced areas or allow for more expansive, *Spider-Man*-esque exploration across Nova City.
