How to Get & Recruit All Crew in Citizen Sleeper 2

This guide details how to recruit every crew member in Citizen Sleeper 2. Remember, while recruitment is usually straightforward (accepting their offer), success in Contracts or other events can influence your ability to recruit certain characters. Also note that you can lose crew members through bad luck or miss opportunities entirely. Please comment if you find alternative recruitment methods!

Recruiting Crew Members in Citizen Sleeper 2

Serafin and Bliss: These two join your crew automatically and are always available. Serafin, however, is generally not usable in Contracts. No achievements are tied to their recruitment.

Juni: Juni initially joins temporarily on Hexport. To recruit them permanently, head to Helion Gate after completing the "Idle Minds" clock at Solheim Records. A cutscene will trigger; complete the subsequent Contract and agree to let Juni rejoin your ship. Recruiting Juni unlocks the "Data Archaeologist" achievement.

Yu-Jin: Find Yu-Jin on Far Spindle after completing the "Getting Wracked" clock at Gaia's Gyre (requires ordering a Wrack four times, costing 16 Cryo). Complete the Contract he offers to permanently recruit him. This unlocks the "The Freelancer" achievement.

Luis: During the Aphelion Beacon contract, choosing to leave Yu-Jin behind allows you to recruit Luis instead. Recruiting Luis unlocks the "Signalchaser" achievement.

Kadet: Meet Kadet on Far Spindle after completing the "Spindle Core" clock at the Spindle Core location. This unlocks a new drive and Stripline Express. Complete the tasks at Stripline Express, triggering a cutscene. Then, travel to the Scatteryards to recruit Kadet. This unlocks the "The Spindlejack" achievement.

Femi & Nia: You can recruit only one of these two. You'll meet Nia on Hexport and Femi on both Hexport and Floatsam. Femi will offer a Contract to ensure Nia's safety. Completing this Contract gives you the choice between Femi ("Big Brother" achievement) and Nia ("Little Sister" achievement).

Flint: After your first visit to Olivera, you'll receive a Contract investigating Flint's disappearance. This leads to another Contract requiring you to quickly set a trap. Follow Xander to rescue Flint and successfully complete the Contract to recruit him. This unlocks the "Fugitive" achievement.
