Shroodle Acquired: Strategies for Pokémon GO Success

Author: Sophia Feb 19,2025

Trainers, get ready! Pokémon GO's Fashion Week: Taken Over event introduces Shroodle, the Toxic Mouse Pokémon, on January 15, 2025. However, unlike many wild spawns, catching this newcomer requires a bit more effort.

Shroodle's Pokémon GO Debut and Shiny Status

Shroodle, originally from Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, arrives as part of the Fashion Week event. While readily available post-event, a Shiny Shroodle is currently unavailable. Expect its shimmering variant in a future event, possibly a Poison-type or Team GO Rocket focused one.

Acquiring Shroodle: The 12KM Egg Method

Shroodle is exclusively hatched from 12KM Eggs. These eggs, obtainable by defeating Team GO Rocket Leaders (Sierra, Arlo, Cliff, and Giovanni), will have a chance to yield Shroodle. The Fashion Week event is an ideal time to stock up on 12KM Eggs due to increased Team GO Rocket activity.

Securing 12KM Eggs

Remember, 12KM Eggs are only obtained by conquering Team GO Rocket Leaders. Defeating lower-ranking Grunts leads to battles with the Leaders, ultimately providing your chance at a 12KM Egg.

Evolving to Grafaiai

Grafaiai, Shroodle's evolution, also debuts January 15th. Unlike Shroodle, it's not found in the wild or hatched. Evolution is the only path to obtaining Grafaiai, requiring 50 Shroodle Candies. Walk your Shroodle as a buddy to expedite candy acquisition.

Pokémon GO is available now. Happy hunting!
