How To Get Sneasel and Weavile in Pokemon Sleep

Pokémon fans rejoice! New Pokémon are arriving in Pokémon Sleep, adding excitement to your sleep research. As of December 3rd, Sneasel and its evolution, Weavile, are now available to befriend—if you know where to look.

Where Can You Find Sneasel and Weavile in Pokémon Sleep?

Given their Ice/Dark typing in the main series games, you might expect Sneasel and Weavile to appear in a snowy location. In Pokémon Sleep, they'll be found at Snowdrop Tundra. However, they're classified as Dark-type Pokémon within the game, not dual-typed.

Conveniently, they also appear on Greengrass Isle, the starting island. This means all players can start befriending them, regardless of their research progress.

If you're currently researching on a different island but want a chance to encounter these new Pokémon, remember you can use an EZ Travel Ticket to switch locations.

Sneasel and Weavile Sleep Types in Pokémon Sleep

Both Sneasel and Weavile are Dozing-type Pokémon. This means your chances of finding them at Snowdrop Tundra or Greengrass Isle are significantly higher if you're experiencing a Dozing sleep type during your research.

Sneasel, being the pre-evolution, is easier to encounter during Sleep Research. Evolving it into Weavile requires 80 Sneasel Candy and a Razor Claw. However, you'll still need to encounter Weavile in the wild to collect Sleep Research data for it.

Are Sneasel and Weavile Good in Pokémon Sleep?
