Sonic Forces, Sonic Dream Team, and Sonic Dash are all set to receive updates ahead of Sonic the Hedgehog 3’s launch

Sega unleashes a wave of Sonic mobile game updates timed with the imminent release of Sonic the Hedgehog 3. Across Sonic Forces, Sonic Dream Team, and Sonic Dash, players can expect movie-inspired content.

First up, on December 12th, Sonic Forces receives a new Metro-city Zone. This addition features three challenging tracks playable as Movie Shadow, Movie Sonic, and other classic characters. Complete these levels before seeing the film for a complete experience.

Next, on December 18th, Sonic Dream Team (Apple Arcade) adds Shadow as a playable character with new abilities like Chaos Control and Chaos Shift, unlockable via Tails’ Challenges. New powers like Quick Grind and Perfect Boost are also available for all characters, while Shadow receives exclusive upgrades, including Double Chaos Shift. Six new Shadow-themed statues and music tracks, plus a revised tutorial, round out this update.

Lastly, Sonic Dash gets its update on December 20th, allowing players to unlock Movie Shadow and Movie Sonic by collecting cards. Daily challenges offer additional rewards. Sonic Dash+, on Apple Arcade, will receive its Shadow-themed update in January.
