Marvel Snap's Amazing Spider-Season Swings into Action!

September brings a thrilling new season to Marvel Snap (Free), themed around the amazing, the spectacular, the one and only… Spider-Man! This season introduces a game-changing mechanic: Activate abilities. Unlike "On Reveal," Activate abilities let you choose when to trigger a card's effect, offering strategic depth and counterplay options.

The Season Pass card, Symbiote Spider-Man, perfectly embodies this new mechanic. A 4-cost, 6-power powerhouse, his Activate ability lets you absorb the lowest-cost card at a location and copy its effect – even triggering On Reveal abilities again! Prepare for some serious shenanigans, especially when combined with cards like Galactus. Expect this card to be a meta-shaker, possibly requiring a nerf before the season ends.

Beyond Symbiote Spider-Man, this season introduces a roster of exciting new cards:

• Silver Sable: A 1-cost, 1-power card with an On Reveal ability that steals 2 power from the top card of your opponent's deck. A strong standalone card, and even better in specific deck combinations.
• Madame Web: An Ongoing ability card that lets you move one card at her location to another location once per turn.
• Arana: Another 1-cost, 1-power card with an Activate ability. Activating her moves the next card you play to the right and grants it +2 power, making her a key component for move-based decks.
• Scarlet Spider (Ben Reilly): A 4-cost, 5-power card with an Activate ability that creates an exact clone at another location. Double the power, double the trouble!

Two new locations also join the fray:

• Brooklyn Bridge: Iconic Spider-Man territory, with a twist! You can't place cards here two turns in a row, demanding creative deck-building and strategic placement.
• Otto's Lab: Similar to Otto Octavius himself, the next card played here pulls a card from your opponent's hand onto the location, adding an element of surprise and unpredictability.
