Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl's SEVA-V Armor: A Free Early-Game Powerhouse
Stalker 2 offers a range of armor suits to bolster survival in The Zone's hazardous environment. The SEVA-V suit, a standout among the SEVA series, is particularly valuable due to its high PSI protection and the fact it's obtainable early in the game, completely free. Here's how to acquire it.
Locating the SEVA-V Suit
The SEVA-V suit is located at the Scientist Helicopter Point of Interest (POI) in Stalker 2's Rostok region. This POI is southwest of the Rostok base, marked by a crashed helicopter within an Electro anomaly field and a large, rusted crane. The suit itself rests atop the crane.
Accessing the Crane and the Suit
Upon reaching the Scientist Helicopter POI, you'll see the crashed helicopter and a ladder leading up the crane. Before ascending, use an artifact detector to acquire an Electro-type artifact from the anomalous field near the helicopter – this will prove useful.
Climb the crane's ladder. Once at the top, traverse the crane to the operator's cabin on the left. Carefully jump across the gap to the cabin's interior. Inside, you'll find a bag containing valuable supplies and the SEVA-V armor. Retrace your steps to descend.
SEVA-V Suit Stats and Usage
The SEVA-V suit, upgradable by Rostok base technician Screw, boasts high radiation protection and respectable PSI protection. It features four artifact slots. If you already possess superior armor, selling the SEVA-V suit can yield a substantial amount of in-game currency.
