Talk to Professor Lodochka at Wild Island

Proceed to the Wild Island mission marker, locating Professor Lodochka at Quite's Camp. Expect an immediate priority: eliminating mercenaries marked on your map. These enemies are readily visible, but be prepared for further encounters. Equip yourself accordingly. Eliminating them unlocks access to Lodochka, triggering an optional objective: activating the ventilation system.

Activate the Ventilation System

Consult your map for a nearby fuse. After retrieving it, a new marker points north to the engineering rooms. Beware an invisible enemy within.

Navigate the shelter to the engine room. Use the fuse to restore power to the ventilation system, facilitating mission progression. While this optional objective doesn't offer unique rewards, it simplifies subsequent tasks.

Find the Signal Source

It's advisable to acquire superior weaponry before proceeding. The marked location reveals a cave entrance near the water. Traverse the caverns westward, descending and navigating obstacles. A broken pipe aids ascent to higher cave levels.

Locate the large cone-shaped spire; the emitter is at the marked point nearby. Another invisible enemy awaits on your exit. Return to Lodochka to complete the mission, unlocking "Hornet's Nest" as the next main objective.
