Week two of The Sims 4's Blast from the Past event is underway, sending players on a thrilling scavenger hunt. However, one seemingly simple task – studying a Historical Display – is proving unexpectedly tricky for some. Here's how to conquer this challenge.

This week's quest requires you to study a Historical Display located within a museum. Long-time players will likely know their local museum's location. New players should consult their in-game map, searching for a building icon depicting pillars. While four default museums exist, Municipal Muses in Willow Creek and The Future's Past in Oasis Springs are recommended due to their proximity to other Blast from the Past tasks.

How to Study a Historical Display

Once you've arrived at a museum, enter and locate a Historical Display. Both paintings and sculptures qualify. Select the display and choose the "View" option. The completion of the challenge will be indicated by the appearance of the Emit icon.

While straightforward in theory, many players report encountering issues. Mods appear to be interfering, preventing the "View" button from functioning. Removing mods might resolve the problem, but unfortunately, this isn't guaranteed. If you're experiencing this, try viewing multiple items in different museums.
