Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will arrive in Call of Duty

Activision has announced a new crossover event for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Call of Duty: Warzone, bringing back the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! This isn't the first time these shelled heroes have graced an Activision shooter.

While details on the collaboration's content and launch date (only described as "soon") remain scarce, the CODWarfareForum has offered some unconfirmed leaks. These suggest player operators will receive skins based on all four Turtles. (Sadly, no word yet on April O'Neil, Master Splinter, or Shredder.) New melee weapons are also rumored, including a skateboard, katana, nunchucks, and staff. The Grind map, a fitting skatepark setting, is speculated to be central to the crossover events.

However, fan reaction has been muted, not due to a lack of love for the TMNT franchise, but rather due to the current state of Black Ops 6. The game is struggling with a significant number of bugs and cheaters, leading to a decline in its player base. This collaboration feels somewhat ill-timed, arriving amidst this ongoing crisis, leaving many questioning its potential impact and longevity.
