Top Characters in Street Fighter 6 Meta at High Levels

As the Capcom Pro Tour takes a break, the lineup for Capcom Cup 11 is set with all 48 participants ready to compete. However, rather than focusing on the players themselves, let's delve into the characters they've chosen to represent them in the arena of Street Fighter 6. Following the conclusion of the World Warrior circuit, EventHubs has compiled statistics on the most popular characters used at the highest level of play, offering a glimpse into the current game balance. Remarkably, all 24 fighters from the roster have been selected, showcasing the diversity of the game. Interestingly, despite the vast pool of nearly two hundred players (comprising the eight finalists from 24 regions), only one player chose Ryu. Even the newest addition to the game, Terry Bogard, found favor with two players.

Currently, the most popular characters on the professional circuit are Cammy, Ken, and M. Bison, each selected as the main character by 17 players. A significant drop-off follows, with the next tier featuring Akuma (chosen by 12 players), Ed and Luke (both with 11 players), and JP and Chun-Li (both with 10 players). Among the less favored characters, Zangief, Guile, and Juri still managed to be the main choice for seven players each.

Capcom Cup 11 is scheduled to take place this March in Tokyo, where the stakes are high with a million-dollar prize awaiting the tournament's victor. This event promises to be a thrilling showcase of skill, strategy, and the diverse character selection in Street Fighter 6.
