The Evolved Inferno Dragon fundamentally changes battlefield dynamics. Unlike the original version that reset damage output when switching targets, this upgraded form maintains its escalating damage buildup regardless of target changes.

Inferno Dragon Evolution Sparks Clash Royale's New Competitive Season

Titled How to Evolve Your Dragon!, the current season introduces the Inferno Dragon Evolution while resurrecting the popular 2v2 League format. Players can team with friends or random allies to climb the rankings.

Milestone Events beginning at Arena 7 offer substantial rewards including 3 Lumberjack Evolution Shards, an Epic Book of Cards, and limited-edition cosmetic items.

Crown Chase #1 awards an exclusive Battle Banner complete with frame and decorative elements plus an Epic Book of Cards. Crown Chase #2 follows with additional banner components and 3 Evolution Shards.

To highlight evolutionary gameplay, developers have scheduled numerous special events through June and early July. The Inferno Dragon Evolution Draft runs June 2-9, followed by the Inferno Dragon Challenge (June 6-9) offering unique Battle Banner and Emote rewards.

Evolution Mayhem (June 9-16) permits decks containing up to 4 Evolution Cards. Magical Trio follows June 16-23, succeeded by 4 Card Showdown June 23-30. The season concludes with Evolution Bonanza (June 30-July 7), allowing decks with a maximum of 8 Evolution Cards.
