Journalist caches in Stalker 2 are scattered across the game's map, with some areas containing multiple caches. One such cache, located within a car maze in the Garbage region, holds valuable armor. This guide details how to easily access this cache.

How to Locate the Garbage Journalist Cache in the Maze

To find the cache, travel northwest from the Slag Heap towards the car maze. While multiple entrances exist, use the main entrance shown on the map above for easiest access.

Once inside, proceed to the right until you reach a wrecked bus on its side. Look left; you'll see another bus with a blue exterior. Climb onto this bus to reach the cache. Retrieve the Tourist Suit Body Armor from the cache.

Is the Tourist Suit Armor Worthwhile?

The Tourist Suit is a valuable piece of armor, particularly in the early to mid-game stages of Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. It offers solid protection against thermal, electrical, and chemical hazards. Its key advantages are substantial radiation and physical damage resistance, crucial for surviving harsh environments.

Beyond increased defense, it also boosts stamina regeneration by 5%. Given the game's emphasis on exploration on foot, improved stamina is a significant benefit, allowing for extended travel.
