In the video update, Bloodlines 2 Executive Producer Marco Behrmann shared crucial details about the game's current development status. "The status of the game right now is that the game is done," Behrmann stated. To keep the community engaged and informed, Paradox has been regularly posting Dev Diaries over the past few months, covering aspects like characters, stories, and game mechanics. However, to concentrate on refining the game, all future Dev Diaries have been paused temporarily.

First Revealed in 2019

Originally unveiled in March 2019, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 was initially slated for a March 2020 release, developed by Hardsuit Labs. Yet, the project faced its first delay in October 2019, pushing the release to an unspecified date in 2020, and then to 2021. Amidst these delays, several key team members departed, prompting a significant shift in development.

In February 2021, Paradox Interactive made the pivotal decision to transition the project from Hardsuit Labs to The Chinese Room. This change brought new hopes for the game, initially aiming for a late 2024 release, which was later revised to the first half of 2025, and now to the end of 2025.

When it finally launches in October 2025, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will be available across multiple platforms, including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
