Fresh from Pocket Gamer Connects London, we got our hands on some exciting new game releases. One that particularly caught our attention was the word-based puzzler, WordPix.
WordPix presents you with images and challenges you to guess the associated words. Think "scaly reptile" leading to "Lizard," or "large rodent" hinting at "Capybara." While the core concept is straightforward, it's a surprisingly engaging way to exercise your brain on the go.
To keep things interesting, WordPix offers a variety of game modes. You'll find the usual solo and multiplayer options, plus "Beat the Boss" challenges for those who enjoy a competitive edge. Daily challenges, including "Word of the Day" and "Quote of the Day," add a fresh element, and even a Sudoku mode is included for extra variety.
WordPix's appeal is clear: a simple, clean interface, an easily grasped concept with escalating difficulty, and plenty of gameplay twists to keep you hooked. We hope to see further additions from the developers as the game enjoys its global launch this year. Currently, it's available on iOS in the US and UK, with UK Android users also able to play.
