Zelda's Own Game Will Also Let You Play as Link

A recent ESRB rating for Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom reveals exciting details about Princess Zelda's first starring role, launching this September.

Zelda and Link: A Dual Protagonist Adventure

The ESRB listing confirms players will control both Zelda and Link. The game, rated E 10+, features Zelda's quest to seal rifts across Hyrule and rescue Link. Gameplay involves Zelda using a magic wand to summon creatures like wind-up knights and slime for combat, while Link utilizes his sword and arrows. Enemies are defeated through various means, including fire and dissolving into mist.

This marks a significant milestone for the Zelda series, giving Princess Zelda her first solo adventure. Unsurprisingly, following its announcement, Echoes of Wisdom quickly became a highly anticipated title. The extent of Link's playable segments remains undisclosed.
