How To Read Black Panther Lore: The Blood of Kings in Marvel Rivals

The Marvel Rivals Season 1 mid-season update introduces new challenges, some straightforward, others a bit more cryptic. One such challenge requires reading Black Panther's lore: "The Blood of Kings."

Previous Marvel Rivals challenges often involved in-game hunts, like those in the Season 1 Chronoverse Saga Achievements. This new Midnight Features II quest, however, requires a different approach: reading.

Each character in Marvel Rivals features a lore section brimming with background information. While optional, this lore provides extra details about your favorite heroes. Accessing it is easy: navigate to the Heroes screen in the main menu, then select the Lore section.

To complete the "Black Panther Lore: The Blood of Kings" challenge, simply visit Black Panther's hero page and click on his lore entry. Alternatively, the Midnight Features II screen offers a convenient "Go" button directly linking to the lore, allowing you to instantly claim your reward.

But don't just click and claim! The lore itself is a compelling read. It details T'Challa's journey to an alternate reality New York to seek Reed Richards' help in curing a Heart-Shaped Herb-related ailment. His quest encounters unexpected resistance from vampires, culminating in a confrontation with Dracula, leaving T'Challa with a difficult choice: save himself or thousands of others.
