Journey back a millennium and seize control of history before it unfolds!
When an army leaps a thousand years into the past to conquer the world ahead of schedule, their primitive adversaries prove more formidable than expected! Rally a resistance with hundreds of warriors drawn from diverse cultures across the globe. Command a single hero or oversee your entire forces with strategic mastery. This game merges grand, world-shaping strategy with hands-on, interactive combat for the ultimate experience. Just when you think the conflict is over, history may yet cycle back on itself…
UPGRADES
While the core game is free to play, optional upgrades let you tailor your campaign—choosing your faction and starting territory. Unleash chaos in fantasy clashes that pit any two cultures against each other, with warrior numbers limited only by your device. You can even customize every character in the world, though bear in mind the game dynamically manages up to 1,000 units, regularly refreshing the roster.
CONTROLS
When guiding an individual warrior, choose between the “Classic” one‑handed control scheme or “Dual Wield,” which assigns separate move and action controls to each hand. If these systems are new to you, simply pause the action by tapping the timeline to review the “Controls” guide. Also watch for in‑game hints revealed through scrolls and books you discover.
Switch control between any team member at any time by tapping their health bar or directly selecting them on the battlefield. Use the arrows at the screen’s bottom to enter “Commander” mode—zoom out and direct any allied unit by swiping from their position to a target. Whether you order a relocation, an attack, or an object interaction, they will interpret your command. Remember, however, they will act according to their own priorities and available opportunities!
Regardless of your device or control style, you can always zoom the view in or out with a pinch gesture at the center of the screen.
MAP
In the primary “Campaign” mode, expand your territory by moving units from one region to any adjacent one. You may “fortify” a held territory or attempt to seize a rival’s land. Note that only 50% of the units stationed in a territory are available for movement—making invasions inherently more challenging than defense.
The population of any occupied territory can grow after each turn, so controlling more regions is key. Units also gradually heal over time, so rotating your focus between different locations each round is a sound tactic.
PERFORMANCE
Please be aware this is the most ambitious and large‑scale game I’ve created to date; a high‑end device is recommended for optimal performance. To improve framerate, consider lowering the “Population” setting to reduce on‑screen characters or adjusting other options in the “Display” menu.
I regret there is more to this game than I could ever explain here, so I hope you enjoy figuring some things out for yourself!
