Prophecy Games' latest roguelite first-person shooter, Deadzone: Rogue, has taken the gaming world by storm since its Early Access launch on Steam. The game has garnered over 200,000 wishlists, achieved a Top 10 Global Seller position, and attracted more than 100,000 players in its debut week alone. This impressive reception is no surprise once you've seen the trailer, which showcases the game's stunning visuals and high-octane action packed into a thrilling minute of pure chaos.
As you dive into Deadzone: Rogue, you'll embark on missions within a derelict spaceship, unraveling a gripping narrative about an AI gone rogue. You'll face off against hordes of biomechanical enemies determined to obliterate you. Fortunately, you'll have an arsenal of over 30 unique weapons at your disposal, along with a plethora of items, perks, and augments to ensure it's the enemies who end up pulverized.
The Early Access version includes Zones 1 and 2, offering a variety of missions that provide hours of engaging content and access to different sectors of the spaceship. These missions are challenging, but in Deadzone: Rogue, death is a part of the learning process. Each failure allows you to return stronger, equipped with new and improved loadouts to tackle the diverse enemy types and bosses you'll encounter over multiple runs, playable in both solo and co-op modes with teams of up to three players.
The full 1.0 release of Deadzone: Rogue for PC will introduce Zone 3, featuring new enemies, weapons, and gameplay features, enhancing the experience beyond the Early Access phase.
If you're eager to jump into the action, Deadzone: Rogue is available now on Steam and the Epic Games Store. To stay updated on the latest developments, you can join the game's official Discord community.
