Beware: Fake Elden Ring Nightreign Test Invites

Bandai Namco has started sending out emails to confirm participation in the closed test for Elden Ring Nightreign, scheduled from February 14 to 17, 2025. According to the communication, selected players will be among the first to experience the game, which is designed around three-player cooperative gameplay.

Due to Nightreign's massive popularity, scammers are distributing fake testing invitations. Some players have reported receiving messages designed to look like official Bandai Namco notifications, supposedly inviting them to join the test. These emails include links to fraudulent websites that mimic Steam.

Scammers prompt users to log in through these fake platforms, leading to stolen account access. In certain instances, players received similar messages from friends whose accounts were already compromised. A number of affected users successfully recovered their accounts by contacting Steam support.

It's essential to stay cautious with email links and always verify the source. If you have any doubts, rely on official channels and avoid clicking suspicious links.

Elden Ring: Nightreign will no longer allow players to leave in-game messages. Project director Junya Ishizaki explained this decision in a recent interview. With gaming sessions lasting around forty minutes, players won’t have enough time to write or check messages during gameplay.

Since sessions run approximately forty minutes, there simply isn’t enough time to send or read messages, which is why we've disabled the feature.
