Sunborn's Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium, a free-to-play tactical RPG for PC and mobile, features gacha mechanics. A common question is whether the pity system carries over between banners. The short answer is: yes, for limited banners.
Pity Counter Carryover in Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium
Your pity counter and pulls from one limited-time banner in Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium will transfer to the next limited-time banner. This was confirmed by Chinese players on Reddit and observed during the global launch with the simultaneous Suomi and Ullrid banners. Progress on either banner contributed to the pity counter, allowing players to strategically switch between banners to maximize their chances. This carryover applies to all future limited banners.
Important Note: The pity counter does not carry over between limited and standard banners. You cannot build pity on the standard banner and then use it on a limited banner.
Soft and Hard Pity
While the hard pity is at 80 pulls, a soft pity system begins at 58 pulls. After 58 pulls without an SSR unit, your chances of obtaining one gradually increase until you reach hard pity at pull 80.
This information should clarify the pity system's behavior in Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium. For more game guides, including rerolling, tier lists, and mailbox location, check out The Escapist.
