Korean Sims-Like 'inZOI' to Launch in March 2025

Krafton's highly anticipated life simulator, inZOI, gets a new release date: March 28, 2025. This delay, announced by director Hyungjin "Kjun" Kim on the game's Discord server, prioritizes delivering a polished and complete experience.

The decision follows positive player feedback from character creator demos and playtests. Kjun likened the development process to raising a child, emphasizing the commitment to providing a comprehensive and fulfilling game. The extra time will allow the team to fully incorporate this feedback, ensuring a superior product.

"After reviewing your feedback from inZOI… we have made our decision to release inZOI in Early Access on March 28, 2025," stated Kjun. "We apologize that we could not bring you the game sooner, but this decision reflects our commitment to giving inZOI the best possible start."

The delay, while potentially frustrating for some, underscores Krafton's dedication to quality. This is particularly relevant given the character creator demo's impressive 18,657 concurrent player peak before its removal from Steam on August 25, 2024.

Initially unveiled in Korea in 2023, inZOI is poised to challenge The Sims' dominance, offering unparalleled customization and realistic visuals. The delay aims to prevent releasing an unfinished product, a lesson learned from the cancellation of Life By You earlier this year. However, this pushes inZOI into competition with Paralives, another life simulator slated for a 2025 release.
