Discover the Pokémon TCG Vending Machine Phenomenon!

Pokémon fans are buzzing about the appearance of Pokémon vending machines across the US. These aren't your average snack dispensers; they offer a convenient way to grab Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) products. Let's explore what these machines offer and how to find one near you.

What are Pokémon Vending Machines?

These automated machines dispense a selection of Pokémon TCG merchandise. While not budget-friendly, they offer the same ease of access as a typical vending machine. The current US models, initially trialled in Washington in 2017, are touch-screen operated, allowing you to browse and select items like booster packs and Elite Trainer Boxes before paying with a credit card. Each transaction is accompanied by charming Pokémon animations. Digital receipts are emailed, but returns are not accepted.

What do they sell?

Primarily, these machines stock Pokémon TCG products, including booster packs and Elite Trainer Boxes. While stock varies, expect to find a range of items, though plushies, apparel, and video games are generally not included. A limited number of Pokémon Center vending machines in Washington State previously offered a broader selection, but these are being phased out in favor of the TCG-focused models.

The official Pokémon Center website maintains a constantly updated list of US locations.
