- The Solo Leveling: Arise 2025 Championship preliminary rounds begin on February 21st
- Competitors will race against the clock to achieve the fastest clear times
- The grand prize from a substantial pool will be awarded at the finals this April
These days, it seems nearly every game incorporates some form of competitive play. And for good reason—the esports scene has arguably sustained the longevity of many titles. Netmarble's Solo Leveling: Arise Championship 2025, announced earlier this year, appears poised to bring that same competitive legacy to this popular manhwa-inspired game.
It's certainly intriguing to see a competitive tournament emerge for Solo Leveling: Arise. Starting February 21st, preliminary applications open to all players who have earned 1,000 or more points in Battlefield of Time Season 7. Running from February 21st to March 9th, the event will be divided into Asian and International leagues, featuring four selected maps from Battlefield of Time.
Participants must compete across all four maps, combining their best time from each to determine their overall ranking. The top eight players from each league will advance to the SLC Grand Finals in South Korea on April 12th, competing for the largest share of a 20 million KRW prize pool.
Going SoloIf you've sensed a hint of skepticism in my tone, you're not mistaken. It's understandable to find a competitive championship for a primarily single-player experience a bit unusual. That said, given the immense popularity of the Solo Leveling franchise and South Korea's thriving esports culture, there's little doubt this championship will attract a significant audience.
