Zenless Zone Zero shows off new pre-release stream with a sneak peek of upcoming launch content

MiHoYo's upcoming action RPG, Zenless Zone Zero, unveiled exciting new content in a recent pre-release livestream. This version 1.0 showcase, just before the July 4th launch, offers a final glimpse at new playable areas, characters, and more.

Set in a post-apocalyptic New Eridu, the last human city after a cataclysmic event known as the Hollows, players take on the role of a "Proxy." This departure from MiHoYo's usual sci-fi and fantasy settings into a unique urban fantasy world might be their biggest success yet.

High Stakes for MiHoYo: The July 4th release places Zenless Zone Zero alongside MiHoYo's other hugely popular titles. Following the phenomenal success of Genshin Impact, the studio has continued to grow.

Zenless Zone Zero distinguishes itself with its urban fantasy setting, a change from the sci-fi and fantasy themes of Honkai and Genshin Impact. The livestream highlighted the game's emphasis on music, showcasing gameplay and new areas with a musical performance.
