How to Complete All Arata Stages in GHOUL://RE

After numerous trials and errors, we've successfully unlocked **all three Arata stages** in *GHOUL://RE*. While they don't demand high gaming skills or extensive exploration, they require substantial **Reputation grinding**—and we mean a lot of it!

Arata Stage 1 in GHOUL://RE

To kick things off, you need to gather **25,000 Reputation** points and reach the rank of **Special Investigator** within the C.C.G. organization. Head to the **Commission of Counter Ghoul** (C.C.G. center) and find **Damiro D. Mado**, the NPC with headphones on the second floor. He'll assign you the Arata Stage 1 quest, requiring you to collect **10 one-eyed fragments** and **10 Kokuja fragments**.

The quickest way to obtain these fragments is by defeating bosses like **Eto and Tatara** and then crafting them at the worktable. To check your Reputation, speak with **Saiyo Natsuki**, the NPC in a black suit and tie. Once you have **all 20 fragments**, combine them into **five one-eyed Kokuja fragments** at the crafting station. Return to **Damiro**, and he will direct you to speak with "him". This has been a point of confusion in the *GHOUL://RE* community, but "he" is actually **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair**, who's been hiding in plain sight. Arata Stage 2 in GHOUL://RE

To unlock **Arata stages 2 and 3**, you must switch to **permadeath (PD) mode** to obtain the legendary armor. It's advisable to team up with strong allies, as solo missions can be frustrating.

Once you've amassed **100,000 Reputation points**, head to the elevator in the C.C.G. building and proceed to **the Laboratory**. There, you'll find **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair**—the man in a black suit with a scalpel near the door. Hand over the **five one-eyed Kokuja fragments** along with your 100,000 Reputation, and you'll unlock **Arata-Proto armor Stage 2**.

There's been much debate online about the exact Reputation required, with some players suggesting 75,000 or between 90,000 and 100,000. From our experience, you need **100,000 Reputation points** to ensure success. Remember, both the second and third Arata Stages must be played on **PD servers** to progress; otherwise, you won't complete Stage 2 or access Stage 3.

Arata Stage 3 in GHOUL://RE

The final Arata Stage also involves **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair**, more fragments, and a significant sum of money. You must remain in **PD mode** to continue your quest for the epic armor.

After acquiring **one one-eyed Kakuja fragment** and saving up **500,000 Yen**, visit **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair** again in the C.C.G. building. Upon paying him, he'll teleport you to face the **Kishou Arima boss**. Defeating this boss requires at least average gaming skills, involving jumping, dodging, blocking, and dealing substantial damage from above. With some practice, even players of moderate skill can triumph over Kishou Arima.

Be prepared for multiple attempts, as many may die during this encounter. Each retry will cost an additional **one-eyed Kakuja fragment** and **500,000 Yen**. Upon defeating Kishou Arima, you'll unlock **Stage 3 Arata-Proto armor**. However, remember that wearing Arata armor drains your hunger rapidly and prevents you from eating, so manage your resources wisely.

Arata-Proto Armor Buffs

Arata armor offers powerful buffs, but it comes at a cost: it **drains your hunger** quickly, and you can't eat while wearing it. To replenish hunger, you'll need to **remove the armor**. On the upside, Arata provides significant benefits, such as immunity to **ragdolling**, which is a major advantage in combat scenarios.

Additionally, Arata enhances your character's **durability** and damage output, making you increasingly "tanky". If your hunger bar depletes during a fight, the armor will start consuming your **health bar**, so be cautious, especially in boss fights. You can always take it off to heal if needed.

Reputation Grinding

The most efficient way to farm the required massive amount of Reputation is by **battling bosses in PD mode**. Although risky, each boss defeated in PD mode grants **1,500 Reputation**, significantly more than the **500** earned outside PD. Killing regular Ghouls yields only **100 Reputation** per kill, making them less ideal for grinding during Arata quests.
