Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Launches on Android
Ubisoft's acclaimed metroidvania action game Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown has arrived on Android. Originally released for PC in January 2024, players now get to experience Sargon's adventure - a young warrior from the elite Immortals group.
The Epic Quest Begins
Queen Thomyris dispatches Sargon and his fellow Immortals on a critical mission to rescue her son, Prince Ghassan. Their journey leads to the mystical Mount Qaf, once a sacred city now corrupted by time anomalies and cursed landscapes.
Mount Qaf presents diverse environments within its massive interconnected world. From crumbling temples to forgotten deserts, each area offers unique challenges. The innovative map system even lets players snapshot their surroundings for navigation.
Gameplay features like creating temporal shadows for teleportation add depth to platforming and combat. Hidden throughout the world are powerful amulets that enhance Sargon's abilities. His devastating Athra Surge ultimate moves provide spectacular finishers against enemies.
Mobile-Optimized Gameplay
The Android version includes mobile-specific features like:
- Customizable touch controls
- Full controller support
- Quality-of-life options including auto-parry and shield assist
- 60FPS performance on modern devices
- Dynamic screen ratio support (16:9 to 20:9)
Players can experience Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown through a free trial on Android. A special launch price of $9 grants full access during the first three weeks (regular price $14 thereafter). The game is now available on Google Play Store.
