Mortal Kombat Mobile, the mobile adaptation of the legendary fighting game series, is set to thrill fans with the introduction of its first guest character: the iconic anti-hero Spawn. Created by Todd McFarlane, Spawn, also known as Al Simmons, is a former soldier who, after being murdered, strikes a deal with the Devil to return to Earth. Empowered with supernatural abilities, Spawn's mission is to prevent the Apocalypse while fighting as a vigilante.
Spawn, a character that first hit the scene in the nineties and became a flagship for Image Comics, has been a fan-favorite and much-requested guest in the Mortal Kombat universe. His previous appearance in Mortal Kombat 11 has now led to his inclusion in Mortal Kombat Mobile, where he's modeled after his MK11 version. Fans of the series can now enjoy Spawn's dark presence on their mobile devices.
Alongside Spawn, players will soon see the MK1 version of Kenshi joining the roster. This update not only brings these characters but also introduces three new Friendship finishers and a new Brutality, enhancing the gameplay experience. Additionally, the new Hellspawn dungeons provide fresh challenges for fighters to conquer.
Spawn is available in-game now for Mortal Kombat Mobile players. You can download the game on the iOS App Store and Google Play to experience these exciting new additions.

Addendum: Just as this story was about to go live, reports surfaced that the entire Netherrealm Studios mobile team has been let go. This unfortunate news suggests that the addition of Spawn may be the final contribution from this talented, yet now disbanded, team.
